The exhibit was superbly hung, with 35 artworks selected from over 500 entries and 5 works by artists who were invited ( Paula Roland, James Meyer- Jasper John's former assistant) Cari Hernandez, Francisco Benitez, Kevin Frank). Three artists who were pioneer encaustic workers were included in the 35: Esher Geller ( now 91) Karl Zerbe, David Aronson.
I felt honored to be included in this exhibit with so many encaustic " heavy hitters"- without saying more--- here are some pics:
