I am happy to announce that 2 of my encaustic works will be traveling this fall:

Mardi Gras Moon , Encaustic 9"x12"

     Mardi Gras Moon is going to the Encausticon exhibit at Gallery Nord in San Antonio, Texas. In this exhibit only 67 pieces were selected ( actually I got 2 pieces accepted , but Carnival was the other one and cannot go, as it will be in Boston-- my bad!)
  
Carnival will be flying to Boston ( me too!) for The Future of the Past: Encaustic in the 21st Century at the Mills Gallery in the Boston Center for the Arts

   This will be my first -albeit brief- trip to Boston and am looking forward to this brief respite- am really excited about seeing other encaustic works, as my visual exposure to this medium has been somewhat limited.  I need to see the stuff live!
